Ommi Forge Pvt. Ltd. was founded in the year 1975 by BG Ashwath, who saw a demand after his experience in the industry. The journey began on an open forging line, supplying primarily only to general engineering , The plant was located in a then developing Vishweshwarya industrial area.

We limit our use of air conditioners to the clean rooms; and have our office and workshops designed for abundant ventilation, which cuts any unnecessary use of power.
We have adopted a greener manufacturing process to be more environmentally conscious and reduce our carbon footprint.
The shift to white lubricants from polluting lubricants has already been made; and we are moving away from the use of furnace oil and LDO—and towards using sustainable power for all operations instead.

Under the leadership of Anil Ashwath, we expanded our portfolio into Closed Die forging in 2004. He is the visionary that transformed Ommi Forge into a comprehensive stop for all your forging needs in ready-to-assemble condition. The plant was moved to the Malur industrial area in 2006 and has been expanding ever since.
We are located in an industrial suburb of Bangalore with a location advantage of access to the Sea, Road, Rail and Air.
At Ommi Forge we believe in ensuring we use the best quality steel from pre-qualified sources which undergo rigorous testing upon being in warded.
Our in-house team of metallurgists ensure the testing procedures are upto date and always exceed customer requirements.
